The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is jam-packed with unique and engaging quests for players to pursue. While the base game features an incredible variety of side quests, the Dawnguard DLC offers even more. The "Impatience of a Saint" side quest is one such addition, and it's arguably one of the more challenging quests in the entire DLC.

Skyrim's "Impatience of a Saint" quest tasks the Dragonborn with exploring the Soul Cairn and finding ten lost pages for Saint Jiub. All ten pages are located in the Soul Cairn, so players won't need to go back to Skyrim or enter the Boneyard to find any. Once they have all been collected, Jiub will thank the Dragonborn and reward them.
How To Start The Impatience Of A Saint Quest
Players who have access to Skyrim's Dawnguard DLC will unlock "Impatience of a Saint" during "Beyond Death," the ninth quest in the Dawnguard questline. As part of the "Beyond Death" quest, the Dragonborn must enter the Soul Cairn using the entrance in Castle Volkihar and search for Serana's mother, Valerica.

To find Jiub, the "Impatience of a Saint" quest-giver, players should travel to the second part of the Soul Cairn and proceed northeast. The exact location of the campsite in which Jiub can be found is depicted in the image above. Upon speaking to him, he will ask the Dragonborn for their help in completing his magnum opus. Thankfully, the supposed magnum opus is already written; the Dragonborn just needs to find the missing pages.
Where To Find All The Pages From Saint Jiub's Opus
The Dragonborn will need to find ten missing pages to complete "Impatience of a Saint." The order described below details one of the fastest ways to find them all.
Jiub's Opus (Page Eight) Location
Immediately upon entering the Soul Cairn, players should head north along the path and approach the first building on the right. Shooting the glowing orbs in each of the standing stones will lower the gate, allowing the Dragonborn to get inside. The eighth page of Jiub's Opus can then be found on the floor, just in front of the coffin.
Jiub's Opus (Page Six) Location
Returning to the path and heading northeast toward the purple flame, players should turn east and enter the small building just ahead of them. Inside, next to the chest in the western corner, the sixth page of Jiub's Opus can be found.
Jiub's Opus (Page One) Location
At the wall that divides the Soul Cairn in half, players should proceed into the southern area and head east along the wall. There is another stairway connected to the wall just ahead, and the first page of Jiub's Opus can be found at the top, right next to the Soul.
Jiub's Opus (Page Three) Location
Backtracking to the gap in the wall and proceeding west, players will need to head through a small building and emerge on the other side. Facing northwest, a purple crystal can be seen floating above the structure. At the top of this structure, directly below the crystal, the third page of Jiub's Opus can be found.
Jiub's Opus (Page Ten) Location
Traveling through the dividing wall and proceeding into the northern section of the Soul Cairn, players should head east toward the Soul wandering outside the pink-lit building. On one of the barrels next to the cart, the tenth page of Jiub's Opus can be found.
Jiub's Opus (Page Two) Location
At the door leading to the Boneyard, players should head southwest down the stairs and then north toward the small castle-like building. Inside, just in front of the Boss Chest, the second page of Jiub's Opus can be found on the ground.
Jiub's Opus (Page Nine) Location
Heading directly west from the stairs leading to the Boneyard, players will happen upon a building, over which a large purple crystal can be seen floating. In the northeast corner of the building, a teleportation device can be used to reach the roof, and the ninth page of Jiub's Opus can be found directly below the crystal, on the eastern side of the coffin.

Backtracking to the stairway leading to the Boneyard, players should proceed east and hug the wall on the left. Eventually, they will come across some ruins and must use a set of stairs to get inside. Climbing up the second set of stairs just ahead of the first set, the fourth page of Jiub's Opus can be found on the ground next to the chest.
Jiub's Opus (Page Seven) Location
Continuing east, away from where Page Four was found and toward the edge of the map, players will encounter a raised platform. Using the stairs to reach the top, the seventh page of Jiub's Opus can be seen on the ground next to the podium.
Jiub's Opus (Page Five Location)
Traveling a short distance south from where Jiub's campsite is located, players will happen upon a large, slightly raised platform with a well in the center. The fifth page of Jiub's Opus can be found on the southern side of the well, next to where the Glass Shield and Grand Soul Gems are.
How To Complete The Impatience Of A Saint Quest
Once all ten pages have been collected, the Dragonborn should return to Jiub and speak with him. Informing him that all pages have been found, he will thank the Dragonborn for their help and reward them with Saint Jiub's Opus and the Locket of Saint Jiub, which increases Stamina and Carrying Capacity by 50 points each. When the conversation ends, the "Impatience of a Saint" will be completed.
