Tues May 28, 2024: Fergus asks Alexis why now, Carly visits Brennan, and Tracy reminds Chase of what the wedding meant to Gregory.
Friday’s GH recap: Tracy digested news that Gregory is gone, Liz told Portia Finn was drinking, and Fergus declared he will destroy Alexis.
“I hear you stabbed yourself for me,” Carly says as she drops by Brennan’s room at General Hospital.
He laughs when she asks to see the scar and assures her it’s “pretty epic.”
She’s sure it was self-inflicted and doesn’t buy that it was just to get out to see her.
He tells her that nothing in the world of spies is as it appears to be. He hasn’t been tried for his crimes because they are afraid of what will come out.
No one involved is innocent, not even Anna. He says they have worked together on many ops and that’s why she’s so suspicious of him.
Jack tells her that this is likely the last time she will come to see him and she has no idea what she told him last time.
She just wants peace for Jason now that he’s home.
Jack isn’t going to give her any assurances but says it’s unlikely he’ll ever run into Jason.
As he goes, he suggests she stay far away. She says she’ll make up her own mind.
Fergus corners Alexis as she dines alone in Albany. She tells him to move on because her salad is getting cold.
When he sits, she tells him to go away and threatens to report him. He asks why she filed an appeal now.
She claims it just took her awhile to realize what a miscarriage of justice it was. He doesn’t buy it.
He can see that she did all this to herself.
Alexis asks what the real reason is that he’s gone out of his way to stop her from practicing law.
They talk about Ava’s involvement, her criminal record, and vendetta.
Alexis says that Neil never mentioned him once. Why is that?
Fergus admits he had issues with his brothers and they were fighting over their father’s estate. He deeply regrets that.
He lost both of his brothers because of her and intends to make sure she never practices law again.
She doesn’t think going after her will bring them back. He was hoping she’d take some responsibility but clearly not.
He leaves her to her salad and she smirks.

At their place, Chase and BLQ talk about how suddenly his dad disappeared. He feels like he should do something but just wants to sit.
Someone comes to the door and she offers to get rid of them. It’s Tracy.
She hugs him and tells him how much she appreciated his father.
She hands them some rare wine and reminds them they should be on their honeymoon.
As BLQ opens a bottle, Chase thanks Tracy for being a friend to her dad. She’d rather skip the platitudes.
He insists it’s not. She tells him that his father was one of the few people she didn’t find annoying.
Caring about him snuck up on her.
He was warm and never self-pitying or angry.
Tracy thinks he should be proud of him.
He is. That’s why it’s so hard for him. Sobbing, he says that this is all his fault.
His dad pushed himself to his death just so he could officiate at the wedding.
Tracy begs him not to blame himself.
Officiating the wedding was what was keeping his father alive.
That gave him dignity until the end. It was sad and unfair but that’s life.
The only thing his father ever bragged about was his sons. That was his only annoying quality.
That makes him laugh.
BLQ returns with wine and Tracy takes off.
He and BLQ talk about how fast things have changed. He’s in pain and his brother has lost both his parents.
They talk about how dangerous alcohol is for Finn.
He’s sure his brother is aware of what breaking his sobriety means.
He can’t imagine what it was like to find their father after he passed and thinks he just needs to support him so he doesn’t take another drink.
Chase knew that ALS was terminal but part of him thought his father would survive.
He just can’t believe he will never speak to him again.
Tracy made him realize how much their marriage meant to his father because he wouldn’t be left alone.
Gregory’s phone starts ringing. Chase sees it is Alexis.
He has to tell her the news.
She holds the charm he gave her.
Sam stops by Spinelli’s work space and he tells her that tangling with the FBI is highly ill-advised.
He’s also reluctant to go behind Jason’s back.
She thinks they need to figure out what the Feds have on him.
He points out that finding the kind of evidence they need would be next to impossible.
She begs for Danny’s sake. He points out this is will be a federal crime.
Sam thinks it is necessary.
Maxie barges in and they chat about Dante’s recovery until Sam exits, asking Spinelli to think about what she said.
Maxie guesses she interrupted something. He fills her in.
She thinks this insane and can understand where Sam is coming from but this is a felony and could put his family at risk.
He’ll turn Sam down if Maxie asks him to. She thinks he should help but tells him not to get caught.
If the Feds are onto him, he needs to abandon ship.
She and the kids need him and she invites him over for dinner.
Anna drops by Jason’s room and asks him about Sonny attacking Dex and Kristina witnessing the whole thing.
Dex isn’t pressing charges.
She thinks that was the right choice and they need to wait to bring Sonny to justice on a charge that would put him away longer.
Anna wants to hear his account of events.
He explains he had a bad feeling and followed Sonny, catching him attacking Dex.
When she assures him this is off the record, he says that Sonny lost it and threatened to wipe them out.
Anna can’t understand how Sonny would do that in a public place with people around.
Would he try to have them bumped off?
Turning away, he says that there was a time that Sonny would never do something that obvious.
Now, he’s not sure.
When he mentions that Carly tried to calm Sonny down, Anna smiles and mentions that Carly went to see Brennan in Pentonville.
He told her that he stabbed himself to see Carly again.
He might be using her as a cover.
